Over the course of 11 days, you will experience amazing gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park, the wildlife-rich plains of the Serengeti, and the unique ecosystems of Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park.

What you will do
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport (KGL), you will be met and transferred to a hotel in the city.

What you will do
After breakfast, we go on a lovely 2.5 hour drive through winding roads to the Ruhengeri area, the second largest town in Rwanda, with its stunning backdrop of the five volcanic mountains – The Virungas. On our way to the Park, you will have an opportunity to visit a genocide museum.

What you will do
Morning breakfast at the hotel then transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting the gorilla trek through the Bamboo Forests. The amount of time taken to find the gorillas is about 2-6 hours. The viewing takes another one hour before returning to the lodge for lunch. Later you will be transferred to Kigali and check into your hotel.

What you will do
After breakfast, transfer to Kigali Airport for your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in Tanzania. Upon arrival, our team will transfer you to a peaceful lodge near the airport, where you can unwind and prepare for the safari adventures ahead.

Today, after breakfast, we drive to Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch; the park is renowned for its large elephant population. Game drives in the park.

What you will do
Enjoy a morning game drive in Tarangire to catch the wildlife at its most active. Later, travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where the dramatic landscape of the Crater rim awaits. This evening, relax at your lodge with sweeping views of the surrounding wilderness and prepare for tomorrow’s descent into the Crater.

What you will do
Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for game drives in the Crater, exploring the short-grass plains of the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100sq miles alive with lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and many more game. Later in the day we drive to spend the night in Serengeti.
