Diamonds Mapenzi

Diamonds Mapenzi Beach sits on Kiwengwa Beach on Zanzibar's east coast, part of the Diamonds Hotels and Resorts collection operated by Planhotel Hospitality Group. The property is built in Swahili style around gardens scented with frangipani, with direct access to a wide stretch of white sand beach and the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Accommodation ranges from Garden Rooms and Superior Rooms to Superior Family Rooms with an extra sleeping area for children, up through Sea View Beach Villas, Sea Front Beach Villas and Sea Front Beach Villas with a private pool. All rooms feature a four poster king bed or twin beds under mosquito nets, air conditioning, a minibar restocked daily, tea and coffee facilities and a private veranda, with the villa categories adding secluded outdoor space and, in the top categories, a plunge pool of their own. The resort is all-inclusive, with dining across The Palm Restaurant and ONDA plus the Hibiscus pool bar for drinks by the water.
