Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp

Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp evokes the golden age of safari with twelve elegantly furnished tents designed to recall the romance of an era long gone. Set in the south-central Serengeti, the camp combines antique trunks, safari chairs, travelling desks, and old-fashioned copper showers with modern comforts. Each tent features a king-size or twin queen-size beds, a small writing desk, storage trunks, chairs, and a coffee table with a sherry decanter. En-suite bathrooms include flushing toilets, copper basin-style vanities, and hot showers heated by solar power. A canvas-covered awning with outdoor furniture invites guests to soak in the Serengeti landscape. A family tent with double and twin rooms separated by canvas walls is also available. A small round swimming pool sits on a wooden deck surrounded by sun loungers between the main area and the tents. The on-site restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and dry cleaning and laundry services are complimentary.
