Kambi ya Tembo

Kambi ya Tembo is a tented camp on the western slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, offering 14 spacious and comfortable rooms built in traditional style with local woods and grass-thatched roofs. The camp provides stunning views of Africa's highest peak from a unique western perspective. Each tent is fitted with either a king-sized bed or twins and features an en-suite bathroom with built-in shower. One side of each tent can roll away to afford uninterrupted views of the surrounding landscape. Rooms are elevated on wooden platforms and furnished with mosquito nets, flat-screen TVs, solar energy, free toiletries, and private wooden balconies with seating areas. The camp features a dining area serving meals indoors or outdoors around the campfire, with relaxed and cosy dining throughout the day. 24-hour electricity via standby generator and solar energy keeps guests comfortable, while WiFi connectivity ensures you stay connected in this remote wilderness setting.
