Kiba Point Selous

Kiba Point is an intimate private camp on the banks of the Rufiji River in Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve), operated by Nomad Tanzania. Booked exclusively for up to eight guests, it offers one of Tanzania's most private and authentic safari experiences. Four spacious stone-and-thatch cottages sit on raised platforms overlooking the river, completely open at the front with heavy netting for comfort. Each cottage features huge beds draped with mosquito nets, en-suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers, flush toilets, and hot and cold running water. Every cottage has its own private plunge pool on the veranda for cooling off while watching river life. The main camp area includes a shady thatched dining room, a lounge filled with deep armchairs and sofas, a large communal swimming pool, and a fire pit set just metres from the river. Rates include all meals, house drinks, WiFi, and laundry. Activities include game drives, fly camping, walking safaris, fishing, and boating on the Rufiji River.
