Kigoma Hilltop Hotel sits on a hillside outcrop above Lake Tanganyika, set in acres of gardens on the edge of Kigoma Town in western Tanzania. Accommodation is in 30 cottage style rooms, each with a private balcony looking out over the lake. Guests have use of a swimming pool, a private beach and the thatched open deck Sangara Restaurant, along with two conference venues. The hotel is about 15 minutes from Kigoma Airport and is a common base for arranging boat transport to Gombe Stream National Park.
