Kokoko Camp

Kokoko Camp by Asilia Africa is an intimate expedition-style camp in Ruaha National Park, offering just three comfortable tents for a maximum of six guests on an exclusive-use basis. Set amongst light combretum woodland above the Mwagusi Sand River, the camp embraces a philosophy of minimal luxury and maximum wilderness immersion. Each tent features double or twin beds, a safety deposit box, en-suite bathroom with flush toilet, hand basin, and outdoor bucket shower. Shaded outdoor seating areas and retractable canvas roofs allow for stargazing from bed. All meals are prepared over the campfire, with fireside dining capturing the true essence of safari. Open during the dry season from July to October, rates include full-board accommodation, house drinks, a private vehicle and guide for game drives, night drives, walking safaris, airstrip transfers, and laundry. The camp's location in Ruaha — one of Africa's last great wildernesses — provides exceptional predator viewing and birding with virtually no other visitors.
