Mara Mara Tented Lodge

Mara Mara Tented Lodge is a permanent tented lodge in the northern Serengeti operated by Tanganyika Wilderness Camps, divided into two camps — north and south — for enhanced privacy. The lodge offers tents and bungalows with en-suite facilities, including family rooms. Each tent sits on timber decking with a spacious bedroom, double or twin beds, bedside lighting, storage, and a seating area. En-suite facilities include flush toilets, washbasins, showers, and bathtubs with views. Private balconies with safari chairs and small tables overlook the northern Serengeti scenery. Mineral water and room service are complimentary. Solar power with backup generator ensures 24-hour lighting. The lodge's northern Serengeti location near the Mara River provides front-row seats to the Great Migration river crossings from June to October, when over a million wildebeest and zebra navigate the treacherous waters.
