About this stay
Nasikia Mobile Migration Camp is a seasonal mobile camp that follows the Great Migration through two positions each year. From December to March it stands in the Small Marsh area of Ndutu within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, giving front-row access to the calving season and the predator action that comes with it. From June to October it relocates to the northern Serengeti near Kogatende, within reach of the Mara and Bologonja river crossings at the peak of the migration spectacle.
Accommodation is 10 to 12 spacious mobile tents, including a two-bedroom family tent, so the camp never hosts more than 24 guests. Each tent has a private patio, mosquito-netted beds with fine linens and handcrafted furnishings, and an en-suite bathroom with flushing toilet, ceramic washbasin and bucket shower. The camp is solar-powered with generator backup and offers Wi-Fi and battery-charging facilities, with communal dining and lounge tents for escaping the midday heat. Game drives, walking safaris, bush meals and community visits keep the focus on the migration, and the camp is owner-run with a local team.
