Serengeti Wilderness Camp (Central)

Serengeti Wilderness Camp (Central) sits in a prime, secluded position in the central Serengeti, looking out over a wildlife-rich valley with a permanent water source. That water keeps resident game close through the year, predator activity is high, and the migration is free to pass through camp. Each canvas tent has a large en suite bathroom with a flush toilet, a gravity-fed hot shower and a basin with vanity, plus a private veranda for watching whatever wanders past. A family tent takes children aged six years and above. Camp life gathers in the dining tent, in a sociable lounge tent with a well-stocked bar and a small reference library, and around the campfire for evening sundowners and snacks. The camp is built to keep its footprint light, using solar power for lighting and gravity-fed, solar-heated showers to conserve water. Game drives and birding run from camp, the Seronera river valleys nearby hold big cats, elephants and buffalo herds, and hot-air balloon flights can be arranged over the plains.
