Ubuntu Migration Camp

Ubuntu Migration Camp is a mobile tented camp that moves with the Great Migration through the Serengeti, so the camp is always positioned close to the herds rather than a long drive from them. From June to November the camp sits in the northern Serengeti near the Mara River, placed for the crossing season and the predator activity that follows the herds to the water. From December to March it relocates to the southern Serengeti and the Ndutu area for the calving season, when the short grass plains fill with newborn wildebeest and the cats that hunt them. The camp holds ten spacious canvas tents, each with a full en suite bathroom, hot showers, solar lighting and a private veranda, alongside a central dining and lounge tent, a bar and a campfire. The whole setup is built to leave no trace and can be dismantled and moved as the migration shifts. Days are built around game drives, bush meals and sundowners, with hot air balloon flights available over the plains and evenings spent by the fire under open sky.
