2-Day Private Safari & Magical Balloon Ride in Tanzania

Your safari adventure begins! Our Go Serengeti African Tours guide will pick you up from your lodge in or around Arusha. Begin your day before sunrise as you’re transferred to the balloon launch site inside Tarangire National Park. As the sun begins to rise over the acacia-dotted landscape, you’ll gently ascend into the sky for a magical one-hour hot air balloon safari. From above, witness herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife moving through the vast savannah and along the Tarangire River—an experience unlike any other. Your guide will take you on a private game drive through the park. Tarangire is known for its iconic baobab trees and one of the highest concentrations of elephants in East Africa. You may also encounter lions, leopards, buffalo, wildebeests, and a wide variety of birdlife.

We will have an early wake-up, and after breakfast, we will drive into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact crater in the world. It is estimated that the crater is home to 30,000 large mammals. Due to its natural borders, there is an abundance of wildlife throughout the conservation area, which is home to the Big Five, including the African black rhino, as well as hyena, zebra and elephant, to name a few. After the game drive, we will drive back to Arusha in the Lodge a client booked or to the Airport.
