Early in the morning, after breakfast and with your packed lunch, your driver-guide will pick you up from the lodge and take you to the park headquarters for a briefing on proper conduct when encountering mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. You will then set out on an unforgettable trek to observe these majestic creatures up close. After this remarkable experience, return to the lodge for a hot lunch before heading out in the afternoon to explore the scenic Twin Lakes of Bulera and Ruhondo. Enjoy the stunning views and peaceful surroundings, then return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, visit the Gorilla Guardians Village (formerly Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village) to immerse yourself in Rwandan traditions. Experience local music, dance, and crafts, and interact with community members to learn about their daily life and cultural heritage. After lunch, depart for Kigali and arrive later in the afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your hotel to conclude your journey.
