Uganda Gorilla Trek - 3 Days

You board a morning charter flight from Entebbe, watching Uganda's green patchwork quilt of banana plantations and tea estates slide beneath you. An hour later you descend into the Kigezi Highlands — the "Switzerland of Africa." Your lodge sits on a ridge overlooking the impenetrable canopy, a sea of green stretching to the Congo border. You gather at 7:30am at the park headquarters. The head ranger assigns your group to a gorilla family and you set off with trackers who have been in the forest since dawn.
